Job summary

Edmund Rice Education Australia Flexible Schools Ltd invites applications for Leader of Teaching and Learning – Middle School at Elizabeth. You will lead Years 7–9 teaching and learning while carrying a 0.5FTE teaching load, reporting to the Head of Campus, and working with regional leaders to shape inclusive programs for disengaged learners.

We seek an experienced educational leader with strong curriculum, assessment and pedagogical knowledge, who can drive literacy and numeracy improvements,

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in an educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum, assessment and pedagogy.
• Proven ability to lead improvement initiatives.
• Experience with learners facing disengagement.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and problem solving.
• Working with Children Check and clearances.
• Driver's Licence.
• Understanding of Edmund Rice Catholic values.

Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum, assessment, reporting and pedagogy for Years 7–9.
• Support teachers with engaging, differentiated learning aligned with ACARA v9.
• Drive literacy and numeracy initiatives and evidence-based practice.
• Use student data to improve learning and wellbeing outcomes.
• Support curriculum planning, moderation and reporting processes.
• Coordinate professional learning and curriculum development.
• Collaborate with campus leaders to strengthen educational pathways.
