Bendigo Bank in Melbourne is seeking a Transformation Risk Manager to embed in the B&A Transformation Program, guiding risk governance across agile delivery and strategic value streams.
You will partner with project leaders, run RCSAs, ensure go-live readiness, and translate ORMF/APRA standards into practical controls. This hybrid role offers growth, competitive benefits, and enterprise impact.
At Bendigo Bank, we have a clear and ambitious vision: to become Australia's bank of choice. We believe our success begins with the success of our customers and communities. To deliver on this commitment, our Business and Agribusiness (B&A) division is undertaking a substantial transformation- investing in digital platforms, modernised processes, and streamlined operating models that empower our frontline bankers and agricultural specialists to deliver exceptional customer value.
Transforming at scale requires speed, innovation, and unwavering operational resilience. That is where you come in.
We are seeking a proactive and strategic Transformation Risk Manager to embed directly into our flagship B&A Transformation Program. Reporting to the Transformation Risk Lead within our Customer Enablement division, you will act as a trusted advisor, strategic partner, and bridge-builder- ensuring we innovate boldly, protect our customers, and manage risk seamlessly from concept through to go-live.
This is not a traditional compliance checklist role. Operating in a dynamic matrix environment, you will be the primary Line 1 Risk partner embedded inside agile project delivery teams and strategic value streams.
You will help build the planes while they fly- safely and efficiently- ensuring risks are identified, measured, and controlled before changes transition into business-as-usual (BAU).
To excel in this role, you bring a blend of strong technical risk capability, commercial pragmatism, and high‑impact stakeholder relationship skills. You understand how banks operate at a operational level and can translate complex risk frameworks into practical, agile solutions.
Our people are what set us apart. We take pride in a culture where the sum is greater than its parts, anchored in our core values of Teamwork, Integrity, Performance, Engagement, Leadership, and Passion.
If you are an ambitious risk professional looking to shape transformational change in a bank renowned for trust and customer care, we would love to hear from you.
We believe a diverse workforce supported by an inclusive culture is central to our success and we actively encourage applications from those who bring diversity of thought to our business.
