Your role

The successful Training Consultant will change an individual’s behaviour to positively impact business results by consulting on training and development, system checks, and operational standards. Additionally, a Training Consultant will conduct training that empowers and motivates whilst building competencies to improve individual performance and overall contribution to restaurant results.

Here are some of the purposes of the role:

  • Assess MDP’s in accordance with AQTF standards
  • Coaching others on how to measure and improve results, how to identify the root cause of problems, and how to create actions to solve these problems
  • Communicates with key stakeholders regarding the success of opportunities for people development within a restaurant and/or organizations
  • Actively builds and maintains relationships with Owner/Operators, Operations Managers, Consultants, and Restaurant Managers
  • Utilizes strong relationships to encourage the transfer of knowledge, optimize return on investment, and improve restaurant results
  • Project work as allocated
  • Conducting Management Training classes both virtually and face-to-face inspires managers to achieve high-performance results
  • Adhere to processes and procedures to ensure compliance with Australian Qualifications Training Framework (AQTF) standards and applicable legislation
  • Be an operations expert and consultant on McDonald’s operating standards, management tools, and training systems, to maximize QSC&V
  • Actively seeks to identify and apply the most effective employee development approaches
  • Understand and implement (where appropriate) McDonald’s RTO policies and procedures to ensure quality training and assessment consistent with the scope of registration and scale of operations

There are five main McDonald’s training centres in Australia – in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. These purpose built centres contain state of the art lecture theatres and classrooms and are used to conduct training course for McDonald’s crew, management and corporate employees.
