Job summary

Queensland Government Air (QGAir) seeks an experienced Training and Checking Pilot for its Fixed Wing operations. You will deliver training and checking programs, uphold strict flight-safety and CRM standards, and operate single-pilot aircraft under IFR.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Australian CPL with Flight Instructor Rating (FIR)
• Minimum total flight time and PIC hours as specified in ad
• Desirable: ATPL and Bypass/Type ratings (e.g., B360, C208) would be advantageous
• Ability to train and assess other pilots under CRM and IFR procedures

Responsibilities

• Deliver pilot training and checking programs for fixed wing operations
• Maintain high standards of flight safety and CRM
• Operate single-pilot aircraft under IFR
• Contribute to training development and emergency/disaster response activities
