Job summary

SGS Australia is seeking a versatile Trainer and Assessor to deliver accredited and non-accredited training across Newcastle and Mount Thorley, in classroom, virtual, and on-site settings. You will prepare sessions, assess competency, and support learners while ensuring records meet RTO requirements.

The role requires experience delivering VET programs, strong communication and digital literacy, and willingness to travel between SGS locations and client sites, including occasional overnight

• Strong communication, organisation and digital literacy are required.
• Experience delivering VET programs and competency-based assessment is essential.
• Ability to travel between SGS locations and client sites, including occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging accredited and non-accredited training in classroom, virtual and on-site environments.
• Prepare sessions, assess competency and provide practical learner support.
• Maintain accurate training and assessment records in line with RTO requirements.
• Contribute to resource development, validation, audits and continuous improvement.
• Share your subject matter expertise while promoting safe, inclusive and professional learning.
