Host Safety & Training (RTO 40772) within the Parabellum International Group seeks casual Trainer & Assessor for an ASAP start in Darwin. You will deliver high-quality, compliant training and practical demonstrations at our new facility and client sites.

Essential: TAE Cert IV or equivalent, practical industry experience, and strong communication. This role offers ongoing development and progression within a national training organisation.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a current TAE Certification at one of the listed levels.
  • Industry skills and practical experience in relevant high-risk environments.
  • Strong WHS and emergency response knowledge required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver accredited training and assessments in SRTOs 2025 compliance.
  • Maintain up-to-date training records and documentation.
  • Provide learner support and constructive feedback.
  • Participate in assessment validation and continuous improvement.

Together, our group delivers accredited and non-accredited training programs designed for high-risk, industrial, mining, oil & gas, and construction environments.We operate state-of-the-art training facilities across Australia — including the Sunshine Coast, Gladstone, and Perth — and are now expanding with the opening of our new dedicated training facility in Darwin, NT. As we continue to grow our national footprint, we are seeking Expressions of Interest from skilled and passionate Trainer Assessors to support our expanding operations.We are looking for experienced industry professionals who can deliver high-quality, engaging, and compliant training across a range of disciplines. This role involves training delivery, assessment, and practical demonstrations within our purpose-built facilities and client sites as required.**Areas of experience that are highly regarded include:*** Emergency response* Confined space and vertical rescue* High-risk work* First aid and medical response* Workplace safety and compliance**What We’re Looking For****Minimum Requirements*** TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or* TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or* TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or* A secondary teaching qualification and one of the following credentials:* TAESS00011 Assessor Skill Set, or* TAESS00019 Assessor Skills Set or its successor, or* TAESS00024 VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skills Set or its successor, or* A Diploma of higher-level qualification in adult education or vocational education and training**Industry Skills & Qualifications*** Possess the relevant vocational qualifications, current industry skills, and practical experience required to deliver and assess training* Strong understanding of WHS practices, emergency response operations, or high-risk work environments* Ability to deliver training that is practical, engaging, and aligned to industry expectations* High level of professionalism, communication, and learner-focused approach**Trainer/Assessor Responsibilities*** Ensure all accredited training and assessment practices comply with SRTOs 2025, relevant RTO requirements, and organisational policies* Participate in assessment validation activities to ensure quality and consistency* Ensure all non-accredited training, deliver and assess in accordance with organisational policies and procedures* Maintain accurate and up-to-date training and assessment documentation* Support learners throughout the training process, providing guidance and feedback* Contribute to the continuous improvement of training and assessment resources* Undertake ongoing professional development to maintain industry currency, vocational competency, and compliance with RTO obligations* Be part of a respected national training organisation within the Parabellum International Group* Work in modern, purpose-built training centres* Support the rollout of training at our new Darwin facility* Join a team that values quality training, safety, and professionalism* Opportunities for continued development and progression**If you have a positive can-do attitude, relevant skills and experience and think you would be suitable, please apply now! recruitment@parabellum.com.au**
