Job summary

Sureway is seeking Casual Trainer/Assessors to deliver face-to-face and online training across Sydney and surrounding areas. You will work on one to five day part qualifications, with travel expenses covered.

Delivery will occur within standard hours, typically 9:00am–5:00pm on weekdays, and you must meet a range of listed qualifications including TAEs and various certificates. Applicants must be able to travel and work as needed.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is required or higher.
• Other listed certificates are required for eligibility.
• TAESS00009 or Graduate Diploma in Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Practice (TAE80113) or equivalent (TAE70111) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver face-to-face and/or online training to a diverse group of learners.
• Casually deliver 1 to 5-day part qualifications across Sureway’s footprint on an as-needed basis.
• Operate in accordance with ASQA and other compliance requirements.

Applicants must have the following training and certifications

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122, TAE40116 or TAE40110), or higher

We are looking for Casual Trainer/Assessors in the following areas – applicants who do not hold the qualification, equivalent or higher will not be considered:

• BSB20120 – Certificate II in Workplace Skills
• BSB30120 – Certificate III in Business
• CHC30125 – Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
• CHC33021 - Certificate III in Individual Support;
• ICT20120 - Certificate II in Applied Digital Technologies
• SIR20216 – Certificate II in Retail Services
• SIT30622 – Certificate III in Hospitality

We are also seeking applicants that hold the following qualifications:

• TAESS00009 Address Foundation Skills in Vocational Practice Skill Set; or a higher-level education qualification, such as:
• TAE80113 Graduate Diploma of Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Practice (and its equivalent TAE70111);

Important

Applicants must be able to travel and be available to deliver casual, face-to-face and online training on an “as needed” basis. Skill sets range from one to five days in duration and are typically delivered between 9:00am and 5:00pm on weekdays.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Facilitating Learning: Deliver face-to-face and/or online learning to a diverse group of learners, providing them with the skills and qualifications they need to thrive in their careers.
• Part-Qualifications Delivery: Casually deliver 1 to 5-day Monday to Friday part qualifications across Sureway’s footprint on an as-needed basis. This is an exciting opportunity to engage with learners in different communities. Travel expenses, including hours, kilometres, accommodation, and meals, are all covered.
• Operate in accordance with ASQA and other compliance requirements, ensuring we maintain the highest standards of training and assessment.
