Qualifications

• Completed secondary schooling to year 12 or hold a trade certificate or tertiary qualifications.
• Possess a current 'C' class driver's licence.
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and regular drug and alcohol screens.
• Demonstrate genuine interest and motivation to pursue a career as a Process Technician in oil and gas.

Responsibilities

• Controlling production processes and product quality.
• Operating equipment and controlling flows.
• Dealing with production upsets and equipment malfunctions.
• Operating valves, pumps and equipment.
• Monitoring flows, temperatures and pressures.
• Taking hydrocarbon samples and checking levels.
• Analysing samples.
• Performing product tests and analysis.
• Assist in the ship tie-up and loading processes.
• Assisting planning of equipment maintenance and plant shutdown.
• Administering permit to work.
• Emergency response training.
• Analysing hydrocarbon samples.
• Identifying any possible production problems.
