Zusammenfassung

Liverpool Hospital, part of South Western Sydney Local Health District, is recruiting a Renal Transplant Unaccredited Trainee to support the new Renal Transplant Unit. This 38-hour week role is Temporary Full Time and reports to the Renal Transplant Unit leadership.

The successful candidate will participate in on-call duties, contribute to patient care and education, and develop specialist skills. The position requires MBBS or equivalent and registration with the Medical Board of Australia, with

  • MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Minimum 4 years postgraduate experience.
  • Willingness to serve as Unaccredited Trainee in Renal Transplant Surgery and participate in on-call roster.
  • Ability to work independently within supervised complex clinical environment.
  • Excellent clinical judgment, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience educating undergraduate medical and allied health professionals.

Liverpool Hospital is recruiting for a Renal Transplant Unaccredited Trainee to complement and enhance the new Renal Transplant Unit.

Where You'll Be Working

Liverpool Hospital, founded in 1813, is the major health service for south-western Sydney, providing services to the local government area of Liverpool City Council as well as district services to residents and visitors in the area. It also provides a range of state-wide services in areas such as critical care and trauma, neonatal intensive care and brain injury rehabilitation.

The Hospital provides a health service of international standing, with 23 operating theatres, capacity for 877 beds, diagnostic and imaging services, emergency and trauma care, maternity, paediatric, cancer care, mental health, ambulatory care, allied health and medical and surgical services from birth to aged care.

Liverpool Hospital is currently undergoing a major redevelopment. The $790 million Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct (LHAP) project will provide enhanced facilities and an increased capacity to meet future significant population growth for South Western Sydney.

Liverpool Hospital is a principal referral and teaching Hospital of the University of NSW and the Western Sydney University and also welcome students from over 20 universities and colleges.

Located in the heart of Liverpool City, the hospital is close to public transport, shopping centres and eateries.

  • MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Minimum 4 years postgraduate experience.
  • Commitment and ability to perform as an Unaccredited Trainee in Renal Transplant Surgery with participation in the on-call roster
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment.
  • Demonstrated excellent clinical skills, judgement and expertise.
  • Demonstrated teamwork, time management and problem-solving skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in educating undergraduate medical and allied health professionals
