Job summary

South Western Sydney Local Health District is recruiting for an Unaccredited Trainee in Plastic Surgery at Bankstown Hospital. This temporary part-time role provides clinical exposure under supervision in a busy surgical service.

Eligible MBBS holders with at least 3 years postgraduate experience and primary FRACS or progress toward it are encouraged to apply. Remuneration is in line with the Health Professional and Medical Salaries (State) Award 2023.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
• Minimum 3 years postgraduate experience.
• Previous Plastic Surgery experience.
• Possession of primary FRACS or evidence of working towards this.
• Demonstrated progress towards career goals in plastic surgery.
• Demonstrated clinical competency: ability to work independently within a supervised environment.
• Demonstrated capacity to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated interest in teaching and research.

What you'll be doing
