Job summary

My Cruises, part of Ignite Travel Group, is hiring Trainee Travel Consultants on a full-time basis at our Queensland location. You’ll join an award-winning travel team, learn cruise products, and develop sales and customer service skills with supportive mentors.

No prior travel experience is required; we provide comprehensive training, onboarding, and career progression within Ignite Travel Group and Flight Centre Travel Group.

Qualifications

• No specific travel industry experience required; training provided.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills are desirable.
• Sales, hospitality or customer service experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete our structured training and onboarding program.
• Assist inbound enquiry for cruise holidays via phone and online channels.
• Learn customers' travel needs and build confidence to achieve targets.
• Provide exceptional service throughout the customer journey.
• Work collaboratively with experienced consultants and a supportive team.
• Learn cruise products, destinations and travel industry systems to become a CLIA-accredited cruise agent.
• We are a seven-day trading business, with rostered shifts across operating hours.
