Job summary

Radiology Victoria in Geelong is seeking a Trainee Sonographer, commencing February 2027 at Epworth Geelong. You must be enrolled in a postgraduate Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound degree, with an undergraduate Medical Imaging degree preferred.

You will receive on-site training from our experienced Sonographers, work with the team daily, and complete a structured two-year program designed to support your studies while building essential scanning skills.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a postgraduate university degree in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound.
• Undergraduate degree in Medical Imaging preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete a structured two-year ultrasound training program with on-site assignments.
• Participate in scanning and observation under supervision of experienced Sonographers.
• Collaborate with the Radiology Victoria team to support patient care.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Radiology Victoria has an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Sonographer position based atEpworth Geelongcommencing in February 2027.

You must be enrolled in a post-graduate university degree in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound, and ideally you will hold an undergraduate degree in Medical Imaging.

You will be offered thorough on-site training within Radiology Victoria and to learn from our highly regarded and skilled Sonographers while being a part of our professional onsite team.

Our structured ultrasound training program provides appropriate scanning and observation time, and will guide you through your post graduate degree over a 2 year period.

• Completion of your Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound qualification within two years
