Construction Sciences is offering a hands-on Trainee Soil & Concrete Testing Technician role. You’ll split time between fields and the laboratory, testing soils and concrete while learning from experienced staff. No degree required, just reliability, a strong work ethic and a readiness to learn.

The position includes a structured 18-month traineeship with in-house training, ongoing employment prospects, and opportunities to progress within a growing national network.

Qualifications

• Reliability and steady work history.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a hands-on role.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Ability to lift 10–20 kg regularly.
• Current driver's licence and unrestricted Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Test soils and concrete in the lab and on site.
• Assist on construction sites with manual tasks.
• Learn from experienced technicians and supervisors.
• Prepare clear, accurate records and reports.
• Complete lab and on-site tasks as required.
• Provide excellent service to clients.
