Job summary

Bridgestone Mining Solutions Australia is seeking a motivated Trainee OTR Tyre Repairer to join our Port Hedland, WA team. This residential, non-FIFO role runs Monday–Friday, offering hands-on training and progression to a qualified OTR Tyre Repairer in about 12 months, with potential fast-tracking for relevant prior experience.

You will gain skills in OTR tyre repairs, tyre/wheel/tube diagnosis, selection of tyres and rims, and safety practices while working under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Gain skills in OTR tyre repairs in accordance with industry best practice.
• Assist qualified tyre repairers in tyre preparation and repair tasks.
• Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot tyre, wheel, rim and tube damage.
• Learn to select correct tyres, rims and tubes for each job.
• Understand equipment used on/off site to perform duties safely and raise concerns if needed.
