Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking a reliable, safety‑focused team member to join our Concrete Plant operations south of the river. You will manage batching and loading of our fleet for delivery to customers, and respond to enquiries, ensuring orders meet quality requirements.

This permanent full‑time role requires a proactive team player who can multi‑task, plan effectively, and make quick decisions under pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience in concrete batching is preferred but not essential.
• Training will be provided.
• Front End Loader and forklift tickets are advantageous but can be gained in the role.

Responsibilities

• Manage batching and loading of Heidelberg Materials fleet for delivery to customers.
• Balance fleet allocation with customer needs to maximise productivity and efficiency.
• Engage with customers and respond to enquiries.

In your new role with us

• Manage batching and loading of Heidelberg Materials fleet for delivery to our valued customers
• Make decisions that impact the overall performance of the business
• Balance our customers' needs and allocation of fleet through effective planning and decision making to ensure maximum fleet productivity, utilisation and efficiency
• Engage with customers and respond to enquiries
• Manage and monitor orders to ensure delivery and products meet quality requirements

Additional qualifications

Concrete batching or truck scheduling / logistics experience is highly desirable however not essential as training will be provided.
