Job summary

CBCity is offering a two-year Temporary Full-Time Trainee Event Management role. You will work with our City Events & Activations Team, supporting event planning, scheduling, logistics and stakeholder coordination while learning from experienced Event Producers.

You will gain hands-on experience across procurement, risk management, WHS and post-event evaluation, while completing a TAFE course alongside your work.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Year 12 student, recent school leaver, or early career professional.
• Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) and Class C driver’s license are required.
• Access to transport and willingness to undertake a TAFe course alongside work.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of CBCity’s major events and activations.
• Assist with event plans, schedules, budgets and logistics alongside Event Producers.
• Coordinate with Council teams, suppliers, contractors and stakeholders.
• Gain hands-on experience in event set-up, delivery and pack-down.
• Assist with procurement, event communications, risk, WHS and accessibility requirements.
• Build practical event management skills through on-the-job training and mentoring.
