Job summary

Busy Bees at Tamworth in Tamworth NSW is seeking a motivated Trainee Educator. You will support educators delivering play-based learning aligned with EYLF, helping create a safe, inclusive environment and forming strong relationships with children, families and staff.

You will be enrolled in or currently pursuing a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, with NSW WWCC requirements and a positive, reliable work ethic. This full-time role offers valuable hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Willingness to enrol in or currently enrolled in a Certificate III or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Ability to obtain a valid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• Basic communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
• Previous experience with children is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support educators in delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with EYLF.
• Assist in creating a safe, inclusive, nurturing environment for children.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and team members.
• Support daily routines, transitions and supervision of children.
• Contribute to maintaining high standards aligned with NQS.
