Job summary

Only About Children Rhodes is seeking a dedicated Trainee Educator to join our Rhodes campus. You’ll support learning, wellbeing and daily routines, while progressing toward your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

Qualifications

• 12 months' experience as a CSE.
• Enrolled in or working towards an approved Early Childhood Education and Care qualification, minimum Certificate III.
• Foundational understanding of child development and early learning.
• Current or willingness to obtain First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
• Commitment to child safety and wellbeing.
• Working with Children Check and state-based clearances.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning, wellbeing and safety through daily practice.
• Deliver age-appropriate learning aligned with EYLF and OAC Grow Curriculum.
• Support routines (meals, rest, transitions, hygiene, behaviour guidance).
• Observe children's interests to inform planning and documentation.
• Build relationships with children and families through professional communication.
• Collaborate with Room Leaders and campus leadership to ensure smooth operations.
• Participate in training and reflection to grow professionally.
