Little Zak's Academy in Shellharbour Village NSW is offering a Trainee Early Childhood Educator role. This entry level position provides on‑the‑job learning while you study, with support from our experienced team.

You will work with children aged 0–5, gain practical skills toward a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, and join a nurturing, values‑driven centre that supports career progression and staff development.

Qualifications

• We are looking for candidates who are passionate about working with children and committed to a career in early childhood education.
• No prior childcare experience is necessary; training will be provided during the traineeship.
• Must be willing to study towards a Certificate III and complete study requirements on time.

Responsabilités

• Learn from experienced educators while developing knowledge and skills for a career in early childhood education.

Our Shellharbourcentre is a purpose-built service, and we are looking for a motivated Trainee Early Childhood Educator to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn, gain practical experience working with children aged 0-5, and work towards your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

About the role:

As a Trainee Educator, you will learn from experienced educators while developing the knowledge and skills required to build a successful career in early childhood education.

What you will:

• Work towards your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Gain practical experience working with children aged 0-5
• Build positive and nurturing relationships with children
• Assist with the implementation of educational programs under the guidance of experienced educators
• Support play-based learning and children's development
• Assist with maintaining a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment
• Develop your understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework
• Work collaboratively with educators, families and the wider centre team
• Participate in training, professional development and mentoring
• Learn about child safety, health, wellbeing and early childhood regulations
• Complete your study requirements within the expected timeframe
