Job summary

CAMM Concrete in Townsville, part of the Doyle Group, is seeking a motivated Trainee Concrete Batcher to learn the day-to-day operations of a batching plant and to coordinate production with our team.

No batching experience required; candidates with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn will be trained on site. You will gain hands-on skills in batching, scheduling, safety, and customer service.

Qualifications

• No batching experience required; willingness to learn.

• Current driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and monitor the concrete batching plant.
• Assist with scheduling and coordination of concrete orders and deliveries.
• Liaise with customers, drivers, sales staff and the production team to ensure deliveries run smoothly.
• Learn to interpret concrete mix designs, job specifications and production requirements.
• Monitor raw material stocks and assist with inventory management.
• Complete production records, delivery documentation and relevant administration.
• Assist with quality control procedures and concrete testing requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and company requirements.

CAMM Concrete is a locally owned and operated family business based in Townsville, North Queensland. As part of the Doyle Group, we provide integrated services across quarrying, raw materials, ready-mix concrete, transport and civil construction.

At CAMM Concrete, we take pride in delivering quality products and exceptional service to our customers. We are looking for a motivated and reliable Trainee Concrete Batcher to join our team and learn the skills required to manage the day-to-day operations of a concrete batching plant.

About the Role

Working alongside our experienced team, you will learn how to coordinate concrete production, manage customer orders and ensure concrete is batched to the required specifications and quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Learning to operate and monitor the concrete batching plant.

About You

You don't need previous batching experience to apply. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, a willingness to learn and an interest in building a long-term career with our business.

Previous experience in concrete, construction, quarrying, transport, manufacturing or a similar operational environment will be highly regarded but is not essential.

A current driver's licence is preferred.
