Job summary

Canberra Health Services (CHS) invites applications for a Medical Imaging Level 3 – Trainee Cardiac Sonographer. This full-time, temporary 24-month role is based at The Canberra Hospital with occasional days at North Canberra Hospital in Bruce, offering structured training and hands-on echocardiography exposure.

You will train under experienced Cardiac Sonographers, work with state-of-the-art GE and Philips systems, and contribute to inpatient and outpatient care while fulfilling accreditation

Qualifications

• Enrollment in accredited Cardiac Sonography training program.
• Australian/New Zealand citizen or permanent residency in Australia.
• Visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Undertake an accredited Cardiac Sonography training program while earning and learning.
• Gain exposure to echocardiography, stress echo, and advanced imaging.
• Work alongside experienced Cardiac Sonographers in a tertiary hospital.
