Job summary

GV Health invites applications for a Cardiac Sonographer within the Clinical Diagnostic Unit. The role involves performing echocardiograms for both outpatients and inpatients, generating interim reports for the Cardiologist, and working closely with the team in detecting abnormalities.

Stress echocardiography is included in the responsibilities. The successful candidate will hold an accredited Cardiac Ultrasound qualification and be registered with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Cardiac Ultrasound qualification.
• Current registration with Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Echocardiograms on outpatients and inpatients.
• Develop interim reports for Cardiologist and escalate abnormalities.
• Perform Stress Echocardiograms in collaboration with Cardiologist.
