Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a dedicated Trainee Business Administrator to join the Central-West Orana REZ project training team based in Merotherie. The role focuses on providing essential administrative support and coordinating with training providers to deliver onsite and online sessions.

You will interact with the team and stakeholders, assist with worker interfaces, and help manage site access and competency records using 3D Safety (training provided).

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in an administrative role.
• Experience or preference in training/ construction safety is a plus.
• Knowledge of coordinating with training providers is beneficial.

ACEREZ, a partnership of ACCIONA, COBRA and Endeavour Energy, has been appointed network operator by Energy Co to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) transmission network. The ACCIONA COBRA Joint Venture (ACJV), the design and construct (D&C) consortium, will design and build the Central-West Orana REZ transmission project.

The Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) Transmission Project will build new high-capacity transmission lines, energy hubs and supporting infrastructure to transfer power generated by solar and wind projects to electricity consumers. The new infrastructure is expected to be operational by 2028 and will initially unlock up to 4.5 gigawatts of new network capacity.
The project consists of 90km of 500kV overhead transmission lines and 150 km of 330kV transmission lines for generator connections, stretching from Elong Elong in the west through to Barigan Creek in the east, via an energy hub at Merotherie.

The Central-West Orana project is currently seeking a dedicated Trainee Business Administrator to join the Training Team on CWO based in Merotherie

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative assistance to the Training team
• Liaise with training providers to support onsite and online training delivery
• Professional / positive interface with members of the Team, internal and external stakeholders
• Assist with worker interfaces to ensure training outcomes are delivered on project
• Support site access and competency management system 3D Safety (training will be provided)

Required skills competencies

• Able to work in the Merotherie office Monday to Friday
• Own form of transport

Preferred Skills and Competencies

• 1+ years' experience in an administrative role (training / construction / safety / engineering industry experience preferred)
• Construction Induction White card
