Job summary

Australian Automotive Group – Castle Hill NSW is seeking a motivated finance assistant to support daily, weekly and monthly reporting, journal processing and cost accounting. You will help prepare balance sheet reconciliations and stock-takes, and assist with local compliance and ad hoc projects.

Based out of Castle Hill with travel across Sydney, the role offers mentorship from the Group Accountant and a structured path to develop core finance skills in a busy dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or planning to pursue an accounting degree.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent eye for detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily, weekly and monthly reporting processes.
• Process standard journals and participate in cost accounting.
• Support balance sheet reconciliations preparations and stock-takes.
• Assist with local compliance requirements and ad hoc finance projects.
• Coordinate with operational staff and travel to other dealership sites across Sydney.

The Role

• Assist in the Completion of Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports
• Processing of standard journals
• Cost accounting
• Preparation for supporting balance sheet reconciliations
• Assistance with stock-takes & supporting documents
• Assist in the completion of local compliance requirements
• Assist in ad hoc Finace related projects.
• Liaise with and provide assistance to operational staff as required

Based out of Castle Hill, this role provides opportunities for diverse experiences, as it will require travel to other dealership sites across Sydney.
