Qualifications
- Interest in fabrication, welding or heavy vehicle industry.
- Willingness to undertake or commence apprenticeship in AUM30218.
- Successfully completed minimum Year 10 or equivalent.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Current C Class Driver's Licence and unrestricted work rights in Australia.
Responsibilities
- Assist with fabrication and assembly of steel components for trailers and transport equipment.
- Learn to cut, shape and weld metal using a range of tools and techniques.
- Support repairs to damaged trailer structures and chassis components.
- Follow safety procedures and read basic technical drawings with support.
- Work as part of a team and contribute to workshop quality standards.
