Job summary

Service Stream Traffic Management is seeking an experienced Traffic Scheduler to join our Dandenong South, Victoria office. You will coordinate traffic management activities, schedule resources, and support operations across multiple client networks and projects.

Reporting to the Traffic Operations Manager, you will oversee daily bookings, align schedules with TMPs and AGTTM standards, and help deliver projects safely and on time.

Qualifications

• Experience in Traffic Management, scheduling, workforce coordination or operational planning.
• Minimum 1 year experience in the Traffic Management industry.
• Strong understanding of Traffic Management practices, procedures and compliance.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with a professional approach.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong computer literacy and data-entry skills.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Planning, costing and coordinating Traffic Management works.
• Managing daily bookings, schedules and resource allocations.
• Coordinating traffic controllers, vehicles, equipment and subcontractors.
• Scheduling and monitoring work orders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and on time.
• Overseeing daily operational activities and responding to changing priorities.
• Assisting with the planning and delivery of major events and traffic management projects.
• Preparing operational reports and providing updates to management.
• Managing timesheets and administrative requirements.
• Liaising with clients, suppliers, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with TMPs, Australian Standards, AGTTM requirements, Codes of Practice and company procedures.
• Reporting incidents, operational issues and safety concerns as required.
• Supporting weekend works and major events when required.
