Job summary

Main Roads WA is seeking an experienced Traffic Services Manager to lead a specialist network operations team. You will oversee the operational use and safety of WA's road and shared path networks, influencing outcomes that support safe and efficient transport across the State.

You will lead critical traffic management services, assess and approve signs and signals, and deliver traffic improvement projects while providing expert advice on complex traffic matters.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a specialist traffic operations team.
• Strong stakeholder engagement with government agencies.
• Solid knowledge of traffic engineering and road safety principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of traffic management services for WA road networks.
• Assess and approve signs, pavement markings and traffic signals.
• Develop and implement traffic signal and road improvement projects.
• Provide expert road safety and traffic engineering advice on complex matters.
• Collaborate with State and Local Government agencies and represent Main Roads on traffic committees.
• Develop people, manage performance, and build succession planning within the team.
