You’ll be able to apply our powerful global network of skills and decades of experience to create positive water outcomes that respect nature and nurture communities.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a skilled Flood Modeller with a strong working knowledge of TUFLOW and Australian Rainfall and Runoff (ARR) and a passion for water resources to join our NSW/ACT team in Sydney, Canberra, Newcastle, Wollongong or any of our regional NSW offices.

You will work on some of Australia's most significant floodplain, catchment and infrastructure projects, helping clients make informed decisions that improve resilience and create lasting community benefit.

You’ll join a great company culture with strong supportive relationships, and benefit from the career development, mentorship and growth opportunities that our team can provide.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
  • Developing and applying TUFLOW hydraulic models and undertaking hydrologic and hydraulic assessments in accordance with Australian Rainfall and Runoff (ARR) methodologies.
  • Delivering flood studies, floodplain risk management studies and development impact assessments across major water, transport, mining, defence and urban development projects.
  • Delivering on multidisciplinary projects and tasks, maintaining strong client relationships and coordinating with stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
