Lockhart River Group is seeking a Traffic Controller in Queensland for a temporary casual position. You will set up, monitor and remove signs, cones, barriers and other traffic control equipment in line with the approved traffic management plan.

Direct vehicles and pedestrians safely through road works, use a stop/slow baton or approved communication equipment, and coordinate with road crews and supervisors to manage changing conditions.

• Use a stop/slow baton or approved communication equipment to manage traffic flow.
• Communicate with other traffic controllers, road crews and supervisors to coordinate traffic control.
• Monitor changing conditions and report hazards or incidents.
