Job summary

Action Traffic Solutions is seeking multiple experienced Traffic Controllers to support essential vegetation and tree works across metropolitan and regional South Australia. You will work alongside our internal tree crews, ground teams and vegetation management workers to keep people safe while works are completed.

Casual opportunities offer consistent ongoing work with casual rates from $37 per hour plus superannuation and allowances.

Qualifications

• Current Traffic Controller qualification (TC2 highly regarded).
• A current driver’s licence is essential (MR/HR licence highly regarded).
• White Card.
• Smartphone for work allocation and communication.
• Experience working on traffic control sites.
• Strong communication skills and a safety-first approach.
• Flexibility to work across metropolitan and regional South Australia.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and packing down traffic control sites.
• Operating Stop/Slow bats and traffic control devices.
• Directing vehicles, pedestrians and vulnerable road users safely through work zones.
• Assisting with traffic management activities in accordance with approved traffic guidance schemes.
• Communicating effectively with crews, supervisors and the public.
