Job summary

Holcim Participations (Australia) Pty Ltd is hiring a Mechanical Maintenance Tradesperson for the Lynwood Quarry in NSW. You will manage maintenance on both fixed and mobile plant, following the Aggregates Maintenance System and asset guidelines to keep equipment available and productive.

Applicants should have hands-on experience with crushers, conveyors, and a strong focus on safety and efficiency. A seven-day roster and occasional overtime apply, with a commitment to Zero Harm principles and

Responsibilities

• Execute maintenance on fixed and mobile plant per AMS and asset guidelines.
• Maximise equipment availability and reliability while controlling maintenance costs.

About the opportunity:

We are looking for motivated and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Tradespersonto join our Lynwood Quarry operations team. This is a key role in which you will manage the execution of all aspects of fixed and mobile plant maintenance for the site in accordance with the Aggregates Maintenance System (AMS) and asset management guidelines on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

You will implement the maintenance plan to the agreed standards – maximising equipment availability, reliability, productivity and reducing maintenance costs whilst maintaining accurate and consistent maintenance records for all plant and equipment.

About You:

• Knowledge of crushing, screening and conveyors.
• Knowledge of extractive industry equipment design, construction and operation.
• Sound understanding of equipment reliability concepts.
• Experience in preventative maintenance.
• Experience in running and coordinating maintenance workshops.
• Sound understanding of SHE systems.
• Total commitment to risk management and Zero Harm.
• Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster as required.
• Must be prepared to work overtime as required.
• Confined Space/Working at Heights certification (desirable).
• Forklift / Telehandler certification (desirable).
• First Aid, Low Voltage Rescue, CPR certification (desirable).
