Scotland Marshall Plumbing – Camberwell VIC is seeking a skilled Metal Roofer to lead architectural cladding, re-roofs and commercial metal roofing projects across Melbourne. You will read roofs, plan them, and run the job from start to finish, mentoring the crew and ensuring a precise finish.

We require at least four years of roofing experience and a current white card. Expect a hands-on role with overtime when needed and a path to leadership within a tight-knit, young team.

Metal Roofer: Architectural Cladding and Re-Roofs | Melbourne

Scotland Marshall Plumbing does high-end residential construction, roofing and plumbing across Melbourne. We’re a young, fast-moving crew that takes pride in the work, and we’re looking for an experienced metal roofer who can run a roof from start to finish and bring others up with them.

This job isn’t for you if:

• You don’t want to be on site at 6:50am with your tools out, ready to start at 7:00.
• You’re not committed to a full day. We work until 3:30pm, and you’re there until the job’s done properly.
• You’re not interested in overtime when the job needs it.
• You’ve only done one type of roof. We need someone who can handle architectural cladding, re-roofs, and commercial metal roofing.
• You don’t want to lead. You’ll be running roofs and managing guys on the tools, and you’ll be accountable for the result.
• You’re happy with "good enough." Our clients are high-end, and the finish matters.
• You don’t care about systems. We run on process, not guesswork.
• You’re not interested in technology. We use apps every day and we’re building AI into how we work, and you’ll be expected to use it.
• You’re not keen on working with a group of young guys, building a crew you’d back.
• You’re not motivated to push yourself, and the people around you, to be better.

This job is for you if:

• You’re a proper tradesman who knows how to read a roof, plan it, and run it from start to finish.
• You’ve got serious experience in metal roofing: architectural cladding, re-roofs and commercial work.
• You can manage and mentor guys without needing to be told how.
• You take pride in a clean, precise finish.
• You want to be part of a crew that holds each other to a high standard and has a good time doing it.

Timing:
