Hawk Logistics NSW is seeking qualified Trade Assistants to join our workshops. You will assist with servicing and maintenance of heavy vehicles, under the guidance of qualified mechanics and the Workshop Manager.

Qualifikationen

• Experience around trucks, heavy vehicles, trailers or mobile plant highly regarded.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and a genuine interest in developing a career in heavy vehicle maintenance.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools and general workshop equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to safely follow instructions and work under supervision.

Aufgaben

• Assisting with servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance of heavy vehicles and workshop equipment.
• Performing general mechanical workshop duties under the direction of qualified mechanics and the Workshop Manager.
• Using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment safely and appropriately.
• Assisting with vehicle inspections, preventative maintenance and general workshop checks.
• Keeping accurate records of service and repairs.

You will be responsible for:
