Job summary

UGL Limited is seeking motivated Trades Assistants for the Orica outage at Kooragang Island, Newcastle NSW. The role offers a 6-week casual assignment with 11-hour shifts (Mon-Sat) and both day and night options.

You will join a large CIMIC Group company with diverse projects starting Feb 2027, and a competitive remuneration package is on offer. Ideal candidates hold a White Card, valid Drivers Licence, and up-to-date training in Work at Heights, Confined Space, and Gas Test Atmosphere.

Qualifications

• White Card is mandatory for on-site work.
• A valid Drivers Licence is required to operate or move vehicles.
• Work at Heights training must be completed within the last 3 years.
• Confined Space training must be completed within the last 3 years.
• Gas Test Atmosphere training must be completed within the last 3 years.

UGL industrial and resource division are seeking motivated Trades Assistants to join us for the Orica (Kooragang Island Newcastle NSW) 2026 Outage.

On offer we have:

• Work commencing 8 October
• Approx 6 weeks work
• 11-hour shifts - Monday to Saturday
• Competitive Remuneration Package
• Day or Night Shift on offer
• Strong Portfolio of work in 2027 - we have projects commencing Feb 2027

Qualification and Tickets Required

• White Card
• Drivers License
• Work at Heights - Must be completed within 3 years
• Confined Space - - Must be completed within 3 years
• Gas Test Atmosphere - Must be completed within 3 years
