Job summary

UGL Pty Limited is recruiting skilled Riggers for the Orica (Kooragang Island) 2026 outage project in Newcastle. You will join an experienced outage team delivering critical maintenance during a 6-week window, with 11-hour shifts from Monday to Saturday and both day and night options.

Eligible applicants may receive LAHA of $200 per day, with a competitive remuneration package and diverse opportunities to grow within a 6,000+ strong CIMIC Group company.

Qualifications

• High Risk Work License – Intermediate or Advanced required.
• White Card, Drivers Licence essential.
• Work at Heights and Confined Space completed within 3 years.
• Riggers experience and safe work practices essential.

Responsibilities

• Join Orica (Kooragang Island) 2026 outage outage team as a Rigger.
• Work 11-hour shifts, 6 weeks, day or night options.
• Adhere to site safety and CIMIC Group standards.

UGL industrial and resource division are seeking motivated Riggers to join us for the Orica (Kooragang Island) 2026 Outage. We are looking for experienced Riggers to join our Outage Team.

On offer we have:

• Work commencing 8 October
• Approx 6 weeks work
• 11-hour shifts – Monday to Saturday
• LAHA $200 Per Day for Eligible applicants
• Competitive Remuneration Package
• Day or Night Shift on offer
• Strong Portfolio of work in 2027 – we have projects commencing Feb 2027
