Job summary

Marand Precision Engineering in Geelong is seeking a reliable, hands-on Trades Assistant to support our welding and machining teams. You will help prepare materials, equipment and work areas for production, while learning multiple facets of the manufacturing process.

You will work alongside experienced tradespeople in a fast-paced environment, following safety rules and procedures, with opportunities for training, development and career progression.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Basic mechanical aptitude with an interest in manufacturing.
• Ability to follow instructions, procedures and safety requirements.
• Willingness to learn new skills and support experienced tradespeople.
• Good work ethic, reliability and a positive team attitude.
• The ability to work effectively in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Trades Assistant to join our manufacturing team. This role will provide day-to-day support to our skilled welders and machinists, helping ensure materials, equipment and work areas are prepared and ready for production.

About the role
