FB Rice is an Australian IP firm recognised for guiding leading brands through trademark protection across Australia, New Zealand and internationally. A Trade Marks Assistant role is available for someone who thrives on organisation and accuracy within a specialist team.

You will work with attorneys, clients and overseas associates to move matters forward, manage deadlines and deliver excellent client service in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Several years' recent trade marks experience, ideally in a specialist IP practice or law firm.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare trade mark applications and related filings.
• Manage case records and maintain accurate data in the IP management system.
• Monitor deadlines and critical dates across trade mark portfolios.
• Work closely with attorneys to ensure matters progress efficiently.
• Prepare correspondence, reports and invoices.
• Liaise with clients, overseas associates and trade mark offices across jurisdictions.
• Assist with precedents, templates and process improvements.
• Support high-quality client service.
