Job summary

Mastermyne Group in Moranbah, QLD is seeking Experienced Underground Trade Supervisors to lead underground coal projects with a strong safety focus and a culture built on The Mastermyne Way.

You will oversee conveyor installation work, mentor crews on ground, drive quality workmanship while maintaining productivity and compliance, and hold supervisory certs G1/G8/G9/G2 along with QLD Coal Health Assessment and a valid licence.

Qualifications

• Underground coal experience is essential.
• G1/G8/G9 and G2 supervisory certificates required.
• QLD Coal Health Assessment and a valid Driver’s Licence are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise underground tasks ensuring safety and productivity.
• Support ground crews to deliver high-quality workmanship and on-time outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

• Full-Time | 7/7 even time roster | Short first and last shift!

Minimum skills and experience required are:

• Demonstrated Underground Coalexperience is essential, these are not entry-level positions;
• Demonstrated experience with conveyor install works;
• Supervisory certification G1, G8, G9 and G2
• Underground Standard 11;
• Current QLD Coal Health Assessment;
• Valid Driver’s Licence;
• Australian recognised Trade Qualification;
• Signed copies of training transcripts and/or authorisations.
