Job summary

Cook's Plumbing Supplies is hiring for a full-time Trade Counter Staff at our Brendale branch. You will deliver friendly customer service, assist with sales, and handle picking/packing orders along with goods inwards and warehousing tasks.

Ideal candidates will have a valid driver’s license, warehousing experience, and the ability to communicate well in a team. Regular in-store training and mentorship are provided to develop a career in the plumbing merchant industry.

Qualifications

• Customer service with a tidy, professional appearance is essential.
• Sales experience including picking and packing orders is desirable.
• Warehousing/stock management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at the trade counter.
• Sell products and assist with picking and packing of orders.
• Handle goods inwards and general warehousing duties.
• Support stock management and inventory control.

Established in 1969, Cook's Plumbing Supplies is a successful family run business and a leader in the industry. Cook’s consists of thirteen trade stores, a Home Builders Division, Commercial Projects Division and three Showrooms across QLD and NSW.

We have agreat opportunityfor full timeTrade Counter Staff to join the team at our Brendale branch.

As Trade Counter Staff you will beresponsible for:

Customer service (a friendly approach with a tidy and professional appearance is a must)

Sales, including picking and packing orders

Goods inwards and general warehousing

Stock management / inventory

The desired candidates will have the below skills and qualifications:

Driver’s license

Warehousing experience - (preferred)

Ability to communicate well with others

Be self-motivated whilst still working in a team environment

We offer regular in-store training, using both external training providers, and a wealth of experienced staff to mentor individuals looking for a career in the plumbing merchant industry.
