Job summary

Tradelink Wangaratta is seeking an experienced Trade Specialist to own trade counter sales, provide practical product advice, and build strong relationships with local plumbers, builders and trade customers. You will support stock management, deliveries and general branch operations to ensure fast, reliable service.

The ideal candidate has experience in plumbing or trade supplies, strong internal sales or customer service skills, and a proactive, collaborative attitude to help drive branch

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing, trade supplies, building products or a similar industry.
• Strong trade counter, internal sales or customer service experience.
• The confidence to build credibility and relationships with trade customers.
• Good product knowledge and a practical, solutions-focused approach.
• Initiative and the ability to keep things moving without needing constant direction.

Responsibilities

• Managing trade counter sales and providing practical product advice.
• Building strong, long-term relationships with local trade customers.
• Managing customer enquiries, orders and supplier follow-ups.
• Helping customers find the right products and solutions for the job.
• Supporting stock management, deliveries and general branch operations.
• Providing guidance and support to the team when required.
• Working across the branch to ensure customers receive fast, reliable service.
