Reece Group in Newcastle is seeking a Trade Counter Assistant (Irrigation) to help landscapers, irrigation specialists and other tradespeople access the products they need and to provide information, while keeping the branch running smoothly.

The role involves making deliveries, picking and packing, stock control, answering quotes in-person and over the phone, and maintaining a safe, welcoming branch. Ongoing, self-paced training helps you grow your skills.

About the role

As part of the Trade Counter team in Newcastle, you’ll help landscapers, irrigation specialists and other tradespeople access the products they need to take care of their outdoor spaces, as well as undertaking other tasks that keep the branch running smoothly.

Your day-to-day

A typical day involves:

• Make deliveries to customers using a company vehicle.

• Continue upskilling with tailored on-the-job training initiatives.

• Previous experience in customer service and enjoys helping people both in person and over the phone.
• Accurately pick orders, maintain shop floor displays and ensure information provided is accurate.
• Tech-savvy and adaptable to learn new systems.
• Holds a clean, valid driver’s licence. Valid Forklift licence is ideal but not essential.
• Wants to develop their career - either locally, within our broader network or head office!
