Total Entrance Solutions Pty Ltd, based in Narangba, is a trusted service provider and manufacturer of industrial roller doors/shutters, automatic doors and gates. We are seeking a Trade Assistant/Labourer to support technicians and help keep our service and installation jobs running smoothly.

Role requires assisting with repair and maintenance, tool preparation, and strong customer service when on site. Full-time position after a 6-month probation with opportunities for overtime and growth

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team.

Position Available: Trade Assistant/Labourer

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Trade Assistant to support our team of skilled technicians. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our service and installation processes.

What We Require:

Assist technicians with the repair, and maintenance of industrial roller doors, shutters, automatic doors, and gate operating equipment.

Prepare and organise tools, equipment, and materials required for jobs.

Perform basic maintenance tasks and operate various hand and power tools.

Keep work areas clean and organized, including the workshop and service vehicles.

Assist with loading and unloading equipment and materials.

Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Complete paperwork and documentation as required.

Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients on job sites.

What you need:

White Card (Construction)

Full unrestricted Australian working rights

Ability to pass criminal checks for correctional centres

Valid QLD driver's licence (HR/forklift/scissor-lift an advantage)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Understand & comply with Workplace Health & Safety Policies

Able to work under pressure and adapt to change

Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team

Strong relationship building ability

Ability to work overtime regularly

Must be available for after-hours "on-call" service including weekends (on rotation every 7-8 weeks)
