Prodoor Automatic Entrances in Melbourne is seeking an enthusiastic Automatic Door Install/Service Technician to install, commission and service automatic sliding, swing and revolving doors. You will work across our workshop and on-site projects, with some after-hours and Saturday work.

You should bring hands-on fault-finding skills, reliability, and good communication with customers. Experience in related trades is welcome, and a White Card plus a valid driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• Auto door experience is a big plus but not a must.
• Experience from a similar trade such as garage and roller doors, gates and access control, security, electrical, glazing, aluminium or shopfitting.
• Good with hands and confident in fault finding.
• Reliable and turn up when you say you will and do the job right the first time.
• Good with customers.
• Current driver’s license.
• White Card (Construction Induction)

Install and commission automatic sliding (single, bi-parting, telescopic)and swing doors. Service, preventative maintenance and AS5007 compliance inspections. Fault finding and breakdown repairs. Replace operators and retrofit operators to existing doors. Help with aluminium window, door and shopfront fabrication in the workshop, plus installs and glazing on site. Jobs all around Melbourne, with some after-hours and Saturday work.

We install, commission, service and repair automatic sliding and swing doors, and we fabricate and install aluminium shopfronts, windows and doors out of our own workshop.
