Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking experienced General Labourers or Trade Assistants for regular casual work with top Canberra employers. Immediate start and ongoing shifts across construction, landscaping and industrial sites.

We offer $35.11 per hour, 11.5% superannuation and a $22 daily travel allowance, with weekly pay. A White Card and driver licence are required, and permanent roles may arise after proven on-site performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card, Silica, Asbestos
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport (highly preferred)
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliability and punctuality

Responsibilities

• Site preparation and clean-up
• Wheelbarrowing materials
• Digging and trenching
• Lifting and carrying materials
• Packing and stacking
• Assisting qualified tradespeople
• General labouring duties as required
