Job summary

OSOS Alliance Pty Ltd in Yarra Junction, VIC is seeking Trade Assistants / General Labourers for a hands-on construction role. You will support general site tasks, install temporary and silt fencing, and use hand and power tools while adhering to safety rules.

Reliable transport to the Yarra Junction site is required. The position offers 7:00am–5:00pm, 10-hour days, with travel and meal allowances on top of a $45 per hour rate.

• Physically capable of demanding work.

Trade Assistant / General Labourer

Location: Yarra Junction, VIC

Rate: $45 per hour + travel & meal allowances

Hours: 7:00am - 5:00pm | 10-hour days

We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Trade Assistants / General Labourers to join our client on a construction project based in Yarra Junction, Victoria.

This is a hands‑on site-based position supporting general construction activities. We are looking for people who are comfortable using hand and power tools and are ready to get stuck into a range of site duties.

The Role

• General labouring and construction site support
• Installation of temporary fencing
• Installation of silt fencing and sediment controls
• Safe use of hand and power tools
• Assisting trades and other site personnel as required
• General site clean‑up and maintaining a safe work area
• Following all site safety procedures and instructions

What You'll Need

To be considered, you will need:

• Valid Construction White Card – essential
• Previous construction, trade assistant or general labouring experience
• Confidence using hand and power tools
• Ability to undertake physically demanding work
• Reliable transport to and from the Yarra Junction site
• Your own Hi-Vis workwear and steel‑cap safety boots
• A reliable attitude and strong work ethic

All other required site PPE will be provided.
