Job summary

Maxwell Recruitment is currently seeking a Trade Assistant for a well-established client based in Tomago, offering an immediate start. The role is day shift from Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday overtime in a busy workshop.

You will operate forklifts and overhead cranes, assist boilermakers with cutting, grinding and general fabrication tasks, and perform general workshop and stores duties. A current forklift licence is essential and pre-employment medical assessment is required.

Qualifications

• Current Forklift Licence is essential.
• Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment.
• Previous workshop, stores or trade assistant experience is highly regarded.
• Confident using hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
