Job summary

FMS Group is offering opportunities for motivated Trade Assistants to join on rostered and adhoc assignments, working alongside experienced tradespeople to gain hands-on experience with heavy mining equipment and to develop a long-term career in the mining industry.

The role is suited to candidates with mining experience; a Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 are preferred, with a strong focus on safety and the ability to liaise with management and clients.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a mining environment.
• Coal Board Medical and Safety training requirements.
• Standard 11 Statement of Attainment is required.
• Ability to meet site safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist tradespeople on heavy mining equipment.
• Work on rostered and adhoc shifts (DIDO).
• Demonstrate strong safety practices and communication.
