Job summary

Ararat Auto & Ag Services is seeking experienced Tractor Operators for roadside grass slashing contracts across Ararat, Pyrenees, Moorabool and Surf Coast Shires. Two casual positions, immediate start.

Work is 8–10 hours per day, Monday to Friday with some Saturdays; travel required and overnight stays away from home when working in Moorabool and Surf Coast areas. You will operate a Deutz Fahr 6‑cyl tractor with a Schulte 15' slasher, performing fire-prevention roadside maintenance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience operating tractors for roadside maintenance.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Ability to provide referees upon request.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Deutz Fahr tractor with a 15' folding wing slasher.
• Slash roadside grass for fire prevention and safety.
• Complete daily paperwork and logs.
• Travel to Moorabool and Surf Coast shires; some overnight stays may be required.

Tractor Operator - Roadside Grass Slashing

Experienced Tractor Operators required for Roadside Grass Slashing Contracts - Ararat, Pyrenees, Moorabool and Surf Coast Shires - IMMEDIATE START - To be considered for this job you must be experienced and able to provide relevant referees.

Ararat Auto & Ag Services is currently recruiting for 2 tractor drivers to join their grass slashing team for work during November through to approximately late January. The position is casual. This is your chance to work with an experienced and friendly hard working team running well maintained equipment. You will be driving a Deutz Fahr 6 cylinder tractor with a Schulte 15' folding wing slasher. The slashing is for fire prevention and safety purposes along the roadsides in these shires.

Mechanical skills would be very useful. You must have a driver's license.

Monday to Friday work with some Saturdays. Approx 8-10 hours per day and some travel.
You must be reliable, punctual and able to complete daily paperwork.

Our team is based out of Ararat and when working in the Moorabool and Surf Coast areas the team stays away from home.
