Job summary

Allcoast Towing QLD PL on the Gold Coast is seeking a full-time Tow Truck Operator. You will join a team with hands-on training, learning loading, transport, breakdowns, and accident scene work. This role involves direct interaction with customers, workshops and insurers while upholding professional representation of Allcoast.

Experience is not required, and MR licence or higher is preferred. The company offers training, a modern fleet, and long-term opportunities within a locally owned business

Responsibilities

• Tow truck operations including accident, breakdown, and vehicle transport towing.
• Safely loading and transporting vehicles.

• Learn practical skills to become a capable all‑round towing operator.
• Maintain pride in truck, equipment and presentation.

Job description

Allcoast Towing is looking for the right person to join our team as a full-time Tow Truck Operator on the Gold Coast.

Already experienced? Great. Never driven a tow truck before? That doesn’t rule you out.

We’re prepared to train the right person from the ground up. You’ll work alongside experienced operators and learn the job properly — from vehicle loading and transport through to breakdowns, trade towing and accident scenes.

This isn’t just a driving job. You’ll deal directly with customers, workshops, insurers and people who may be having one of the worst days they’ve had in a long time. We need someone confident, switched-on and capable of representing Allcoast professionally.

What you’ll be doing

• Accident, breakdown, trade and vehicle transport towing
• Safely loading and transporting vehicles
• Working around damaged vehicles and roadside environments
• Dealing directly with customers, workshops and insurers
• Learning the practical skills required to become a capable all-round towing operator
• Taking pride in your truck, equipment and presentation

Who we’re looking for

Towing experience is not essential.

We’re more interested in finding someone with:

• MR licence or higher preferred
• Good driving history
• Confidence and common sense
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to think for themselves and work independently
• Willingness to learn and get amongst the job
