Job summary

Australian Rural Leadership Foundation seeks a Torres Strait Liaison Officer to connect ARLF with Torres Strait communities and alumni. This 0.4 FTE, 12-month position requires travel within the Torres Strait and occasional mainland travel, with a pro-rata salary of $75,000 FTE plus superannuation.

The role focuses on identifying local participants, maintaining alumni links, offering cultural guidance, and supporting program delivery across the region.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with Torres Strait communities and stakeholders.
• Promote ARLF leadership programs across the region.
• Assist applicants with the application process and pre-screening.
• Provide local insights and cultural guidance to ARLF staff.
• Support delivery of Torres Strait leadership programs and alumni engagement.
• Coordinate travel, flights, accommodation and event timing.
• Share stories of alumni impact and community programs.
